My tea tastes so bitter after seeing this cup (designed by Chrissie Abbott for JaguarShoes). My mugs just can’t compete…

Today, the bus was late. It was beyond late. I waited for over an hour at the station in the bitter cold before it finally arrived, and the two pairs of socks I had been wearing to protect my toes from the chill were having no effect. However, I didn’t care -I couldn’t have been in a better mood even if it was the middle of Summer.

By the time I arrived at the station, Antrim was caught in a blizzard. I love the snow, especially when it’s so heavy that everything in sight is masked within minutes. Even though I was ridiculously late for class and my assignment was covered in frost, it was fun to watch the off-duty bus drivers hurling snow at each other as if they were little boys and girls again. I was never one to take part in snowball fights (my hands have horrible circulation and the cold snow would do them no favour) but I love to watch them from a safe distance.

Hopefully the snow will fall again tonight and throughout the weekend. I want the chance to build a snowman before it melts and, knowing my luck, it’ll melt very soon.

I love wearing rings, though I’m so picky with them. I tend to wear the same ones everyday instead of buying new ones to update an outfit. I’m far too attached to my jewellery…

And today, I decided to wear my crucifix duster like a good little Monster. It’s one of my favourites but I need someone to give me a 15 minute heads-up if I’m required to remove it. It’s so tight around the joint!
