I’m really not looking forward to putting all my magazine cut outs back onto my bedroom wall once it’s been painted and fixed up a little bit. So much so that I’ve spent a good while searching for pretty wall art, hoping that I’ll find something I like enough to take the place of my beloved clippings…
But I think I’ve struck gold Wilhelm Staehle. The only trouble: I can’t settle on just one print…

I’m in love with this -I need it in my room.
A door handle is no place for pretty scarves and bags…

This is interesting
Here, artist James Reynolds showcases just some of the odd requests from former Death Row prisoners in regards to their final meals.
Honestly, I have no idea what I would ask for. There’s a lot of food out there to choose from, most of which I’m not too fond of, but I have to say that the coke and cracker looks like a winner.

I love tea, and I’m fond of origami. This project by Nathalia Ponomareva involves both.
Though not exactly practical, I love the idea of my teabags turning into birds when submerged in hot water. Please, God, let these lovely little things become commercially available.

Aren’t these cushions gorgeous? I’m one of those girls whose head is always in the forest, despite the fact that my body is always in a town or city, so these cushions need to be in my life. The Coppermoon sold cushions with similar themes last time I checked, and I know they will look beautiful on my bed once I do up my room.
I simply love forest wildlife -local and otherwise. Sadly, I haven’t been down to the forest in many many years. Of course I still have the desire to sneak up on pheasants and chase after deer like I used to when I was a little girl. I think, once the Spring comes, I’ll have to go down to the forest again. Until then: Cushions.
