The other day, I was thinking to myself just how much I would love a pet bird. I had doves when I was a little girl, but it was such a long time ago and I need that love renewed. Unfortunately, my lovely Mayo mammy has reminded me (many, many times) that I just have no time to take care of a bird. 

So until I can free up some time, my polystyrene bird will have to fill that void. It’s a big hole, but I’m sure he can manage it.
